Secondly, you can obtain citizenship by descent by proving that you receive your nationality from your parents or grandparents. Thirdly, you can obtain it through Naturalization and retain your previous nationality. Fourthly, marriage to a German partner enables dual citizenship if you have lived legally in Germany for three years, two of which with your German spouse.
