Pension payment: Do I need this for Naturalization?

This video deals with the topic of pension payments at Naturalization. Do you need proof of pension payment? How much must be provided? You can find all the information in detail in the video!

The law does not require Naturalization no payments into pension insurance. Nevertheless, we cannot say across the board that you are exempt from any pension provision for Naturalization .

In the end, the competent authority makes a so-called prognosis decision. It is checked whether it can be assumed that you will probably have paid sufficient contributions, for example into the German pension insurance scheme, by the time you reach retirement age.

As a general rule, the younger you are, the less retirement provision you need to have made, as you still have many decades to make provision for old age. The older you are, the more evidence is required so that Foreigners' office can make a positive prognosis decision regarding your old-age provision and the calculation of the necessary contributions.
