German passport after 5 years! - Faster Naturalization with new law!
The video explains the new regulations for Naturalization in Germany. The most important changes are
- Shortened naturalization period: Instead of after eight years, you can now be naturalized after just five years of legal residence.
- Dual citizenship: Anyone can now obtain dual citizenship without having to give up their old nationality.
- Residence permit: The conditions for valid Residence permit remain unchanged; some titles still do not allow Naturalization.
- Livelihood: The livelihood must be secured, which means that no social benefits may be received from the Jobcenter.
- Language certificate: A B1 language certificate is still required, but the Naturalization can now be obtained after five years.
- Naturalization test: The "Living in Germany" test remains a requirement, but there are exceptions for school and educational qualifications.
The video refers to the free test at migrando.de, which shows in three minutes whether the naturalization requirements are met. If the result is positive, the team offers a free consultation to complete the Naturalization process.
