Does the Naturalization go as an Iraqi?

In this video, we show you exactly how the Naturalization works as an Iraqi. We explain what is important when applying to Naturalization as an Iraqi citizen and, in our experience, what problems Iraqis face in particular when applying to Naturalization and exactly what difficulties they encounter.

Our experience with Iraqis is that there are completely different backgrounds. Some have refugee status or Residence permit with subsidiary protection status and Naturalization is not a problem. Other clients have a ban on deportation according to § Section 25 (3) AufenthG and in this case the Residence permit must be changed. It is therefore important to check exactly which Residence permit you have.

In addition to Residence permit , there are also other important requirements for the Naturalization. For example, you must check whether you have enough proof of income, whether you have a signed declaration of loyalty and whether you have valid proof of identity. Only a complete application to Naturalization with all documents will be successful in the end.
