Find out now how and why Naturalization runs faster and more efficiently with our law firm.
The process step by step
1. Free test
Our law firm helps with Naturalization in Germany. Many people, around 12 million, do not have a German passport and need help. Our Free test will check whether we can help you. If the test is positive, you have taken the first important step on the way to Naturalization .
2nd telephone call
After a positive test result, we will contact you by telephone. In this conversation, we will check the information you provided in the test. Sometimes there are uncertainties because legal issues can be complex. We also need some personal information that was not asked for in the test, for example about your legal history. We prefer to discuss these sensitive issues directly. If all the requirements are met, you have the opportunity to become a client of Migrando Rechtsanwälte.
3rd client
- Directly after the telephone call you will receive a link to our homepage so that you can instruct our law firm.
- Now you can simply place an order online and select a payment method: Immediate payment or installments.
- After you have instructed us, you sign our power of attorney and our terms of mandate online.
- You will then be a client of Migrando Rechtsanwälte and we will take on your case so that you can be naturalized as quickly as possible.
- The lawyer's fee or the first installment will be debited from your account in the next few days.
4th file
Once we have created your file, we will prepare the naturalization application. We need some documents from you to send the application to the relevant naturalization authority. Every naturalization case is unique, so our team will check exactly which documents you need to give us. Once this has been clarified, we will send you an e-mail with a list of the required documents. For a better understanding, here are the most frequently used documents:
- Residence permit
- Proof of income (e.g. employment contract, payslip, employer confirmation from boss)
- Information on pension insurance (if necessary)
- Language certificate (or school certificates or training qualification)
- Naturalization test (or school certificates or educational qualification)
- National passport (if necessary)
- Rental agreement
- Proof of health insurance
- Registration certificate from the residents' registration office
- A passport photo
5. documents
When we receive your documents, we check them carefully. If something is missing, we will contact you. If you cannot find something, we will help you. Once we have all the documents, we will send the substantiated application to the Naturalization Office. The right application and the right documents are very important. As experts, we take care of this. Once the reasoned application has been submitted with all the documents, we have to wait 10 weeks.
6. after submission of the application
After we have submitted your application, the naturalization authority has 12 weeks by law to process it. Shortly before this period expires, after about 10 weeks, we will remind the authority of this deadline. If they do not process your application in time, we will point out the possibility of Lawsuit for failure of act . Our experience shows that your application is then often processed quickly. The authorities know our law firm and know that we will consistently stand up for your rights. This usually motivates them to process your application quickly in order to avoid further legal action.
7. naturalization date
In the final step, we will inform you of your naturalization appointment. It is extremely important to attend this appointment to avoid delays. After the appointment, the naturalization process should usually be completed. However, should any unexpected problems arise, please inform us immediately by e-mail so that we can ensure that your naturalization process is completed successfully.

We answer your questions
The new Naturalization Act came into force on 27 June 2024. As of this date, the new changes such as Naturalization after 5 years, Naturalization after 3 years and the legal acceptance of dual citizenship apply.
Yes, under the new Naturalization Act, Naturalization is possible after 5 years if you meet the requirements under § 10 StAG. The period of legal residence has been reduced from 8 years to 5 years.
The new law simplifies the path to Naturalization. Naturalization is possible after 5 years instead of the previous 8 years. Anyone with a C1 certificate and special integration achievements can be naturalized after just 3 years. The ban on dual citizenship in Section 10 (4) StAG has been completely removed. This means that dual citizenship is permitted by law.
Even if the new Naturalization Act makes things easier. The number of naturalization applications has risen sharply with the introduction of the new law. Without legal support such as that provided by Migrando, we do not believe that Naturalization can be achieved in less than 4 years. Therefore: Apply for Naturalization as soon as possible, with the support of Migrando is the fastest way!
The costs for Naturalization remain the same. One Naturalization costs 255 euros per person and for underage children who are naturalized with their parents, 51 euros must be paid per child. This amount must be paid to the competent authority.
Dual citizenship is legally recognized under the new Naturalization Act. So if your home country recognizes dual citizenship, nothing stands in the way of Naturalization with dual citizenship!
