German passport after 3 years! - Faster Naturalization with new law!

The video explains the new regulations for Naturalization in Germany. The most important changes are

  1. Shortened naturalization period: Naturalization is now possible after just three years instead of six. The prerequisite for this is a C1 language certificate.
  2. Dual citizenship: Anyone can now obtain dual citizenship without having to give up their old nationality.
  3. Residence permit: Some Residence permit still do not allow Naturalization; if in doubt, the Residence permit must be changed.
  4. Livelihood: The livelihood must be secured, which means that no social benefits may be received from the Jobcenter.
  5. Proof of language proficiency: A C1 language certificate is required for Naturalization after three years. Alternatively, Naturalization is possible after five years with a B1 language certificate.
  6. Naturalization test: The "Living in Germany" test remains a requirement, but there are exceptions for school and educational qualifications.

The video refers to the free test at migrando.de, which shows in three minutes whether the naturalization requirements are met. If the result is positive, the team offers a free consultation to complete the Naturalization process.
