Opportunity card: faster and easier entry to Germany!

The video explains the introduction of the "Chancenkarte" from June 1, 2024, which is intended to make it easier to find work in Germany. It will make it easier for people from non-EU countries to enter the country and find work locally without having to go through lengthy recognition procedures. In order to receive the Chancenkarte, you must either be a recognized skilled worker or achieve at least six points in the points system. Prerequisites for this are knowledge of German (A1 level) or English (B2 level), completed vocational training or a university degree, as well as sufficient financial resources. Points can also be collected through foreign vocational school qualifications, work experience, language skills and other criteria. The application for the opportunity card must be submitted to the responsible German diplomatic mission in the home country. If you successfully find a job after entering the country, you will immediately receive a work permit. In summary, the Chancenkarte offers faster access to the labor market without complicated procedures. Interested parties can check whether they meet the requirements on the Chancenkarte Deutschland website.
